1969

Magnetische Pruefanlagen GmbH was established in 1969. The parent comnany - The Institut Dr. Foerster - developed the products based on Discoveries of Friedrich Foerster made in 1937.
Since the date of foundation the main focus of Magnetische Pruefanlagen GmbH has been on services . The lack of flaws are determined on the equipment of power and heat generation industry, gas and oil chemical plants. The core feature of the company service is the testing of reformer pipes.

1990

The new direction of buisness was started. The company developed and begun to manufacture of eddy current sensors. The new line of eqiupment adapted to the test objective on hand improve the test results, often the results bettered significantly.

2005

Magnetische Pruefanlagen GmbH was chaged and took responsibility for the continued development of mobile FOERSTER testing and measuring equipment. The experience of the company in practical application of sensors, existing know-how in the development and was an excellent basis for the development of modern and powerful testing equipment. DEFECTOMETER M and the multi-channel DEFECTOSCOP MC gave the new impulse to the service of company.

2013

MP has got a logical extension of its responsibility area. All the equipment that are relevant for safety and essential for function in the automotive and automotive supplier industries and further development of the stationary FOERSTER testing equipment for the components testing was transferred to MP.
